Hello! This is my first post for my trip! HOOORAY!!
Currently, I am packing my bags for the journey! It has been toilsome, so I've decided to take a break and tippytype on my computer. I moved from Murray back to LaGrange today and have started unpacking my possessions, only to reorganize them and put them in different suitcases. I can't believe I leave for France TOMORROW!! AAAHHHH!! I'm so excited and anxious! It's going to be awesome. I will miss you though :(
I received my course packets in the mail a couple of days ago: one for my french literature class and one for my french culture class. Both of the courses should be super awesome!!
I'm not a light packer AT ALL! I've gotten better over the past couple of years--I can fit all the things I need for a couple of months in the Magic Van, no problem!--but I won't be able to take a van-load of stuff with me. I think I have all the basics packed, but can I really leave behind my silver sequin stilettos?! Or Star Trek poster? I know they seem like superfluous items to you, but what if I NEED THEM?! You never know...I know I'll only be gone 38 days, but anything can happen! Do you see why packing is so difficult for me? I will figure it all out eventually! (in the next 12 hours before I have to go to the airport!)
My flight leaves at 1pm on Wednesday and after changing planes in Atlanta, I will arrive in Paris at 6:10 am on Thursday morning (midnight for those of you on the east coast).
I can hardly wait!!!
Well, I better get back to it. Look forward to my next post which I will hopefully be able to write some time Thursday :)

Oh, dear. :) Coming from someone who is a terrible packer.. you will want to leave as much room as possible for souvenirs!! (You could buy new stilettos in Paris...... just sayin... ;) )
